Symposium Targets High-Tech Bully Threats: KNX 1070's John Brooks Reports
The daylong conference, which was sponsored by federal, state and local law enforcement agencies along with child advocacy groups and social networking giants such as MySpace and Facebook, is aimed at educating young and old alike how to respond to online dangers and how to more effectively report them to the authorities.
Over 400 students, parents and educators attended workshops on Internet safety and heard from panels on child exploitation, cyber bullying, "sexting" and piracy.
