LA Father, 33, Missing In Arizona

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  Police Tuesday asked for the public's help in locating a 33-year-old Los Angeles father who is apparently missing in Arizona.

David Ristovski, who is described as having a medical problem, was last seen on March 9 in Cochise County in the southeast corner of Arizona and has not been seen since.

Ristovski called his fiancee asking for help, saying he had run out of gas.

Later that same day, his car was found abandoned on a back road north of  Interstate 10.

Several days later, there was a sighting of Rivtoski near a set of railroad tracks that run along the Arizona/New Mexico border. A wallet with his identification was found nearby.

Ristovski is 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 200 pounds, and has a shaved head and a one-inch scar on the right side of his head above his eye.

He was last seen wearing black sweat pants, black hooded sweat shirt, white T-shirt and gray converse sneakers.

Ristovski is the father of an 11-month-old son and his family says it is unusual for him not to have contact with the child or other family members. They also report he is in need of medication for a condition he suffers from.

Anyone with information on Ristovski's whereabouts was asked to call the Los Angeles Police Department Missing Persons Unit Detective Kristin Merrill at (213) 996-1800.
