Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 7)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Look for a change from winter like conditions to summer like conditions.

A high pressure system and an offshore flow will build into the area beginning Friday. The day will start with slightly warmer conditions ...but by Tuesday we are in the upper 80s and by Wednesday and Thursday, we are 90 degrees downtown.

For the time being, look for sunny skies Friday and highs in the mid to upper 70s downtown. Temperatures could reach the 80s in the valleys. It will be a little breezy below our passes and canyons. It looks like we will have to wait until next weekend before we see any significant cooling.

Basin - low to mid 70s
Valleys - mid 70s
Mountains - low 50s
Deserts - low 70s
