STUDIO CITY (CBS) — It's going to be a warm week in the Southland.

We will some patchy low clouds early, but daytime highs should be similar to Sunday. Look for near 80 in the basin and near 90 in the valleys.

High pressure building through the week will be our big weather maker. Look for an off-shore flow bringing us temperatures downtown that will be 10 to 12 degrees above average. We are going to approach 100 degrees in our valleys.

The high pressure breaks down somewhat for the weekend. We should hit average levels with the return of a marine layer.

Coastal - low 70s
Basin - low 80s
Valleys - mid to upper 80s
Mountains - mid 60s
Deserts - low 80s
