Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 19)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Happy Hump Day!

There is a weak cold front brushing across the west coast; however as that front drags south it weakens. So expect just a couple of widely scattered showers in the Los Angeles area but that's about it.

Temps will be down a few degrees from Tuesday and will top out in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Expect some clearing overnight and then another low pressure system drops into the area. This one has more potency, but it's going to take more of an inside slider track, which means mostly dry, windy and cool.

There is the chance at some scattered showers again late Thursday into Friday morning. The bigger story with this system will be the gusty winds and then the off-shore flow which sets up behind it.

At first you can expect some gusty winds down the I-5 corridor into Saturday.

By next week, high pressure builds and there will be significantly warmer weather, possibly into the 80s. Dry, warm and high fire danger on tap as we make our way into Thanksgiving week.
