Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 19)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Gusty winds are on tap for mountain communities Thursday, but we will also get plenty of sunshine.

The storm system that gave us record rainfall for the past couple of days has moved east.

High pressure will build into the area Thursday, with temperatures running just a little below average. Friday, we'll get a nice temperature bump along with mostly sunny skies.

The weekend brings with it some cooling and more clouds, but it looks dry right now.

By the middle of next week, high pressure builds back and we should be seeing some 80-degree readings.

Coastal - upper 60s
Basin - upper 60s to low 70s
Valleys - low 70s
Deserts - low 70s
Mountains - low 50s
