Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 11)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Look for a pleasant couple of days as a ridge bumps into the area Wednesday and Thursday. Daytime highs will be close to average.
However, by the end of the week, our pattern changes once again. We are looking at a weak disturbance moving through the area that could bring us a shower on Friday. It will certainly thicken up our cloud cover and we will start to cool off.
Over the weekend, a larger upper level low approaches from the Pacific. This system will move into the Central Coast late Saturday and Sunday.
Right now, it looks like the metro area will stay dry, but there is the possibility some moisture could drag to the south. Nevertheless, it will be cool as we head into the weekend and start the next work week.
Coastal - mid to upper 60s
Basin - low to mid 70s
Valleys - mid to upper 70s
Deserts - mid 70s
Mountains - mid 60s
