Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 30)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Friday will be a pleasant end to the work week. Again, there is a shallow marine layer across the Los Angeles Basin. Some low clouds and patchy fog have spread into valley spots again.  Nevertheless, look for similar temperatures to yesterday.

With a flat ridge of high pressure overhead, you can expect near average conditions.  Hazy sunshine will dominate the afternoon.  By Saturday, a cold front sweeps through the area. Look for increasing cloudiness through the day and temperatures topping out in the mid 60s.

There is a chance for light scattered showers in the evening.

The situation improves on Sunday, with clearing conditions and only slightly warmer temperatures.  Monday through Wednesday a ridge of high pressure will build back in and we should have great weather for spring break.

Beaches -mid 60s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys - mid to upper 70s
Deserts -upper 70s
Mountains -low 60s
