Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (February 8)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The skies have cleared and the very little rain from Tuesday's system is gone.
The totals were way lower than expected, between .01'' and .1'', just because the low was further out. There was a little snow at the resort level, but overall, the storm was a big no show.
High pressure is building in Wednesday with an off-shore flow and we will warm back up into the 70s.
Expect some gusty winds this afternoon. In fact, a wind advisory was issued for the mountains of Los Angeles and Ventura counties. There is also some heavy surf, so an advisory was issued for that as well.
The rest of the work week is going to be lovely with daytime highs well above average.
Over the weekend, another disturbance moves through. It will cool us off and kick up the wind just a bit.
Beaches - low 70s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys - upper 60s to low 70s
