Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (August 8)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Look for some low clouds Monday morning. The marine layer is thick enough to even sneak into some of our coastal valleys, which is going to help moderate temperatures in the basin.

Look for another day with highs a little below average in downtown Los Angeles. The valleys should get up into the 90s.

We will keep this pattern in place through Wednesday, with some warmer weather anticipated as we head into the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday, look for considerably warmer weather as the monsoonal flow will stay in the four corner states, keeping our deserts dry.

Valleys – low 90s
Mountains – low 80s
Deserts – upper 90s
