Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 30)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — After a beautiful weekend, the marine layer is redeveloping and we are setting up for a "May Gray" week.
The marine layer is deepening to 2,500 feet and we can expect only partial clearing at the beach. In fact, the marine layer should be strong enough to reach the Santa Clarita Valley. Look for some gusty winds in the Antelope Valley today as well.
Temperatures will be down about 3 to 5 degrees from where they were yesterday. Tomorrow, the marine layer gets just a little thicker, but that's going to mean drizzle for some foothill locations.
As we make our way to the end of the week, we will see some gradual warming. By Friday, we should return to normal temperatures.
However, another trough next weekend will cool us down just a bit. Nevertheless, aside from the drizzle from the marine layer, it looks like a dry forecast.
