Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 24)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — It's another gray morning for Southern California. We could even see a little drizzle. Although, we should do a better job of clearing out today.

We are still watching the low-pressure center approach the West Coast. Timing and intensity is still in question because the models are not in agreement.

The latest forecast models pull the low down to the border of Baja and Southern California, which would reduce some of the rainfall totals for the Los Angeles area. The heaviest rain would hit Orange and San Diego counties.

It looks like this will be a Wednesday afternoon/evening event before things settle down early Thursday.

If the storm track is a little more to the north, we should get .5" to 1". However, if it tracks to the south, the totals would be closer to .25" to .5". This won't be a big snow maker. Snow levels will remain above 6,000 feet with very little accumulation.

It will be gusty and cool, though. Temperatures should rebound by Thursday and Friday. However, look for temperatures to run generally below average through next week.
