Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 10)

-->

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The last few days of summer-like weather are going to be a distant memory for the rest of the week.

Look for cold, wet and unsettled conditions through the weekend. We have a few chances for rain in our extended forecast.

Our first chance is tonight and early tomorrow. An upper-level low will drop into the area later tonight. The threat of rain will start along the Central Coast and spread to the south by early Wednesday. Right now, it looks like we could get anywhere from .5 to 1 inch of rain.

The snow levels should stay above 5,500 feet. However, we could see up to 6 inches of snow above 6,000 feet. We will dry out later Wednesday and into Thursday.

Then another system rolls in on Friday. This one looks weaker, but colder. There won't be much rainfall, but the snow levels could drop a little lower. It will also be windy.

Nevertheless, for both systems, temperatures are going to remain well below average for this time of year.

Beaches -low 60s
Basin - upper 60s
Valleys - upper 60s
Deserts -low 70s
Mountains - upper 50s
