Include Your Kids To Create A Terrific Thanksgiving Feast

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Holiday dinners can be hard for the kids. They can feel left out when they're at a separate table, and it takes a lot of patience to make it politely through an extra long meal.

The Daily Thred's Michele Adams and Gia Russo stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to share easy ideas that will get the kids involved in the preparations for the big event!

How To Include Your Kids:

Add place cards: Ask your kids to make the place cards and decide where everyone will sit at the big table so they feel included in the planning.

Make "thankfulness" wreathes: This is a fun project that will get the whole family talking as well. Ask each guest to write one thing they are thankful for on a pre-cut construction paper leaf. The leaves are then glued to a ring and placed in the center of the table.

Create an "activity tablescape": Make the kids table the fun table! With lots of activities to keep little hands busy, this will be the table where everyone will want to sit.
