If You See This On a Golf Course... Run

Talk about a water hazard. In Brisbane, Australia, six bullhead sharks live in a lagoon, adjacent to several fairways on a country club golf course . Kids used to go into the water to retrieve lost balls. Now, they don't.
Bullsharks grow up to 10 or 12 feet. These particular examples are eight-10 feet. They swam into the lake at the course when a nearby river flooded its banks some years ago. Something seems strange here: when I hear 'river' and 'lake,' I think freshwater, not salt. Maybe it's brackish. I'm not going to go taste it.
The course has made the most of its visitors, reports Sky News, by even sponsoring a monthly "Shark Lake Challenge," whatever that is. The sharks eat other fish in the lake, and the club occasionally tosses in a hunk of meat. This would be a good time to pay attention to the sign below.
