Hunter Lifts Angels To 2-1 Win Over Indians
ANAHEIM (AP) -- Torii Hunter hit an RBI single in the 11th inning to give the Los Angeles Angels a 2-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians on Friday night.
With the bases loaded and no outs, Hunter drove an 0-1 pitch from Justin Germano (0-1) into the left-field corner. Erick Aybar, Bobby Abreu and Maicer Izturis opened the inning with three consecutive singles.
Fernando Rodney (1-1) pitched a scoreless inning to get the win.
