Homicide investigation launched after woman found dead in Pomona
A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in Pomona on Saturday.
Police were called to the 900 block of W. Holt Avenue a little after 6:40 p.m. in response to reports of an unresponsive woman in the area, according to the Pomona Police Department.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not yet released information on a possible suspect or motive in the incident.
