Hit-and-run driver turns self in after Tarzana crash that left pedestrian with critical injuriews

Police say that the hit-and-run driver that struck a pedestrian in Tarzana earlier this week and left him with severe injuries turned themself in. 

The crash. happened on Tuesday morning just before 9:30 a.m., when a man in his 60s was crossing Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a Ford F-150, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

Paramedics rushed the victim, who has not been identified, to a hospital where he remains in critical condition, police said. 

The driver, now identified as 48-year-old Tarzana resident Jessee Robinson, turned himself in and was arrested. He was booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and was being held on $80,000, LAPD officers said. 

No further information was provided on the incident.
