FLORENCE (CBSLA) — A building in an industrial area of Florence was evacuated Friday due to a reported chemical spill.

HazMat crews were called to the scene at E. 60th Street and Avalon Boulevard around 4:30 p.m.

Responders were reportedly working to clean up a chemical spill inside a building where people were complaining of sickness.

No one had been taken to the hospital at the time of this report.
