Great Sand Sculpture Contest Slated For This Weekend
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — About 2,000 youth from across the city descended on ocean waters Friday as part of an annual All Kids Beach Day.
The event, which is part of the summer-long Long Beach Sea Festival, will be followed by the weekend-long 81st annual Great Sand Sculpture contest.
The contest starts at 9 a.m. at Granada Beach on Aug. 10 and Aug. 11. For more information, click here.
