Gas Line Break Keeps Residents Indoors In Glendale

GLENDALE (CBS) — A 2-inch gas main was severed by a backhoe during construction in Glendale Monday afternoon, forcing the residents of two nearby apartment houses to remain indoors.

The gas line was broken at 1152 Campbell St. at 1:50 p.m.

Authorities said residents would be kept inside for another three hours while crews capped the broken line.
