Firefighters Knock Down 3-Alarm Fire At Santa Ana Strip Mall
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters say they put out a three-alarm fire Sunday at a strip mall in Santa Ana.
About 75 firefighters responded to the shopping center in the 2200 block of South Fairview Street, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The blaze ignited at 1:12 a.m. and was extinguished an hour later.
The fire caused severe damage to two of the nine units.
Approximately one-third of the center sustained smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
