Falling Palm Tree Kills 15-Year-Old Hesperia Boy
HESPERIA, Calif. (AP) — San Bernardino County authorities say a falling palm tree has killed a 15-year-old boy in Hesperia.
The Sheriff-Coroner Department says Moises Casas was taking out the trash at his home shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday when the tree fell and struck him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There's no immediate word on what caused the tree to fall.
