Police Shoot Man In El Monte
EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Monday investigated the circumstances surrounding an officer-involved shooting that took place in El Monte.
Gunfire rang out just before 1 a.m. in the 10500 block of Garvey Avenue after a man threw a knife at officers, according to police.
The suspect was struck by bullets and was transported to a local hospital. He was listed in stable condition.
No officers were injured during the shooting.
