Dodgers Open Newest 'Dreamfield' In Boyle Heights
BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBS) — A new Los Angeles Dodgers Dreamfield opened Saturday in Boyle Heights.
The new field opened at Pecan Recreation Center and includes a solar-powered scoreboard, new sod, a re-grading of the infield and refurbished fencing.
The Dodgers Dream Foundation works with other non-profits and city Parks and Recreation departments to build and upgrade community baseball fields in under-served neighborhoods.
The Boyle Heights Dreamfield is the twelfth Dodgers Dreamfield in Los Angeles.
