Diapers Wanted At Anaheim Ducks Game Against LA Kings

ANAHEIM (CBS) — The Anaheim Ducks are collecting diapers at their home game Wednesday against the Los Angeles Kings as part of the National Hockey League's Hockey for Huggies programs.

The drive is being organized by HomeAid Orange County, to collect essential items like diapers, baby food and wipes for homeless families in Orange County. The goal is to collect more than one-half million baby items.

Each of the NHL's 30 teams will host a Hockey for Huggies diaper drive during February. Diaper donations can be dropped off at two collection sites – outside of the East Doors of Honda Center and on the concourse outside Section 219.

Fans who donate an unopened pack of diapers or make a donation of $10 or more at Section 219 have a chance to win prizes like player-autographed pucks and Ducks T-shirts.

Donate directly to HomeAid OC by visiting their website or make a $5 donation by texting "Ducks" to 501501 through March 28.
