1 Dead After Officer-Involved Shooting In Highland
COLTON (CBS) — Colton police Tuesday are investigating a high-speed pursuit that ended in a deadly officer-involved shooting.
The car chase started when officers tried to stop a suspect in a stolen car. The pursuit ended in Highland when cops caused the driver to spin out. Witnesses then reported gunfire in the area near the 6900 block of San Francisco Street.
Coroners' officials confirmed one person is dead.
Police are not releasing any other details about the chase or the shooting.
