Video Gets Images Of Mountain Lion Moments After It Was Captured In San Dimas

SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities captured a mountain lion on Sunday evening that was spotted in San Dimas.

A deputy was patrolling the area saw the mountain lion behind a business in the area of West Bonita Street and North Eucla Avenue.

That's when the deputy, according to authorities, put in a call for back-up.

When other deputies arrived, they followed the mountain lion around as it went down Arrow Highway, where they then cornered it into a vacant lot.

Animal control officers were called to the area and captured the mountain lion, which was uninjured.

The mountain lion, described as a young adult, is expected to be picked up by Fish & Game officials on Monday.
