Caught On Video: 2 Men Rob San Clemente Verizon Store Of iPhones

SAN CLEMENTE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities sought the public's help Wednesday in identifying two men who robbed a Verizon 4G Wireless store in San Clemente.

The robbery happened Tuesday night at about 7:20 p.m. at the store, 120 N. El Camino Real, when the suspects walked into the store and demanded iPhones that were being stored in the back of the store, Orange County sheriff's officials said.

Preliminary investigation found "numerous" iPhones were taken during the robbery, but authorities say the store is still conducting an inventory to determine the exact loss.

Neither of the two employees who were in the store at the time were injured.

The suspects were described as Hispanic or Asian men, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with medium builds, hoodie sweatshirts, dark-colored pants and black ski masks. One suspect wore a red baseball cap. Authorities say no weapon was seen or threatened, and the robbers fled in a late model gray or light blue Toyota minivan.

Anyone with information about these suspects can call the Orange County Sheriff's Department at (714) 647-7000.
