Boy, 10, In Grave Condition Following Golf Cart Collision In Beverly Park

BEVERLY PARK (CBSLA.com) — A 10-year-old boy reportedly suffered a severe head injury Sunday when the golf cart he was in overturned.

The crash was reported at 2:36 p.m. in the upscale Beverly Park community, according to Brian Humphrey of the L.A. Fire Department.

The modified golf cart, which travels faster than a typical golf cart, was carrying two men and three boys when it overturned, Humphrey said.

The 10-year-old suffered a severe head injury and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in grave condition.
