Blaze Erupts In El Monte Strip Mall
EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — Crews are on the scene of a commercial fire Saturday that has erupted in a single story building.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fire broke out around 6:25 a.m. in the 11600 block of East Valley Boulevard.
Once on scene, firefighters said moderate smoke was showing from the roof of one unit.
Crews described the building as a six-unit strip mall where the blaze was burning.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.
