Best Concerts In the OC This Summer

Coachella may be over but there are plenty of amazing concerts to look forward to in Orange County. It's a bittersweet summer, as Irvine Meadows offers its final run of shows, but at least the 35-year-old amphitheatre is going out with bang. The rest of Orange County though will be offering plenty to see for what's sure to be a summer to remember.

It's a sort of homecoming for the former Disney star who's bringing her "Revival" tour just miles away from the Magic Kingdom known as Disneyland. The local legends return to the Pacific Ampitheatre as part of the OC Fair summer concert series. Expect Dexter Holland and co. to bring some SoCal punk heat to Costa Mesa with plenty of classics and deep cuts from the band's extensive catalog. There's no better way to celebrate the final summer concert season at Irvine Meadows than a performance from the latest iteration of the Grateful Dead, which performed 15 shows at the ampitheatre. Former Dead guitarist and vocalist Bob Weir and drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will be joined by John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimanti for what's sure to be a jam-packed evening of incredible music.
