Bellflower High School Coach Pleads Not Guilty To Sex Assault
BELLFLOWER (CBS) — A Bellflower High School coach has pleaded not guilty Thursday to 20 felony counts stemming from allegations of molestation of a teenage girl over a five-year period.

Bryan Shepherd was ordered to remain jailed in lieu of $720,000. The 47-year-old is due back in Bellflower Superior Court on Jan. 12.
Shepherd is charged with a dozen counts of committing a lewd act on a child; three counts of oral copulation of a person under 18; two counts each of unlawful sexual intercourse and sexual penetration by a foreign object and one count of sodomy of a person under 18.
According to authorities, the alleged crimes occurred between 2005 and 2010 and did not happen at school.
If convicted, Shepherd could face a state prison sentence.
