Authorities Investigating Deputy-Involved Shooting

PANORAMA CITY — Authorities investigated a deputy-involved shooting that wounded a man Wednesday in Panorama City.

The incident happened at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Ventura Canyon Avenue as deputies were removing passengers from a bus.

Witnesses say the man resisted getting off the bus and during the struggle, he was shot. No deputies were injured in the shooting, officials said.

The man was taken to a hospital but there is no word on his condition.

It's not clear what prompted the shooting.
