Lockdown Lifted At Alhambra High School Following Bomb Scare

ALHAMBRA (CBS) — A bomb scare Thursday at a San Gabriel Valley high school turned out to be unfounded following a sweep of the campus, district officials said.

Alhambra High School, 101 S. 2nd Street, was placed on lockdown around 7:30 a.m. after the school received an unspecified bomb threat, Alhambra Unified School District officials said.

When the threat came into school officials, the campus was immediately placed on lockdown.

Police and school officials conducted a sweep of the campus and found nothing suspicious, officials said.

The lockdown was lifted and classes resumed as normal before 10 a.m., according to AUSD.
