6-Year-Old Boy Hit And Killed In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A 6-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car in South Los Angeles Monday morning.
The collision occurred sometime before noon in the area of East 87th Street and Firestone Boulevard in the Florence-Graham neighborhood.
The boy was rushed to a hospital where he died, California Highway Patrol reports. He was not immediately identified.
The circumstances of the crash were unclear. It did not appear to be a hit-and-run situation, CHP said.
