Small Fire Reported In Tustin

TUSTIN (CBS) — A small 5 acre brush fire is reported in Tustin.

The fire is near the 11700 block of Collar Avenue.

Firefighters report that they have gained the upper hand on the blaze.

No structures have burned and no injuries are reported.

Wind is reportedly light in the area but it is blowing embers near some homes on Riehl and Collar Avenues.

About 20 residents in the area of Collar and Riehl have been asked to evacuate their homes.

The fire was first reported after 3:10 p.m.

Saturday, investigators said the fire was likely arson. Sunday, however, they said the investigation only showed the fire was "suspicious" in nature and didn't say it was definitely or deliberately set.
