1 Killed, 1 Wounded In East LA Drive-By Shooting
EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A drive-by shooting killed a man and wounded a woman in East Los Angeles, officials said Monday.
A man and a woman were walking on Whittier Boulevard around 10:45 p.m. Sunday when a car pulled beside them, police said.
Two male suspects began firing at them and then fled the scene.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital where a man in his 20s died from his injuries. The woman was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The suspects remain on the loose.
