2 Suspects Sought Following Deputy-Involved Shooting In Athens
ATHENS (CBSLA.com) — A deputy-involved shooting was under investigation Monday in South Los Angeles.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of West 123rd Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
Investigators said deputies fired several shots at a black Mercedes Benz after the driver used the vehicle to ram their patrol car.
No one was injured in the shooting and the Mercedes was found abandoned nearby.
The suspects, two Black men, were outstanding, officials said.
