2.1-Magnitude Quake Strikes Near Torrance
TORRANCE (CBS) — A 2.1-magnitude quake struck near Torrance at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, according to the USGS.
The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 2.7, but was later downgraded.
The epicenter was roughly one mile northeast of Torrance and two miles east of Redondo Beach.
There were no immediate reports of injury or damage.
