The driver was heading north on Cypress Ave. around 1 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, according to authorities.
On Friday, CBS2's Joy Benedict spoke to a family friend of one of the alleged victims.

A fight apparently escalated inside the church before combatants took the fight into the parking lot.
"I don't feel that I'm a victim," Elliott Uribe says, "I feel like I'm a crime survivor."
Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Joshua Robert Dalton of Anaheim.
Brandon Gilbert Ambriz, 24, faces four counts of child abuse and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
