Oakmont High School’s Health Academy
Oakmont High School’s Health Academy gives motivated high school students a rare, real-world head start on healthcare careers. Through rigorous coursework and immersive learning, students gain exposure to experiences that typically do not happen until medical school, including observing EKGs, ultrasounds, chemotherapy treatments, and, for select students, open-heart surgery.
