Run Rocklin
This morning the streets of Rocklin will be filled with runners! Run Rocklin is expected to attract approximately 3,000 runners, which includes children, families, walkers, numerous law enforcement personnel, and serious half-marathon runners. This is the 13th annual run through the streets of scenic Rocklin! Proceeds go to local schools and for the locally-run, nonprofit Matt Redding Scholarship Foundation. Run Rocklin has raised $127,000 in memory of Matt Redding, a popular Rocklin Police Officer who tragically died while on duty October 2005.

Party Place Expands
Today Nha is getting her party on at Party Place!! Party Place was founded 4 years ago and is a creative party boutique featuring themed rooms, including an ocean themed room, a park themed room! Good Day was there last year when they first opened and Party Place had a Kickstarter campaign to expand their rooms. They met their goal and now have three brand new rooms!! Plus Hoot Coffee, a coffee shop inside Party Place!

High School Fashion Show
Today the seniors of Rio Americano High School are putting on two fashion shows hosted by our very own Ken Rudulph! Approximately 80 seniors will demonstrate fashions from Sacramento and San Francisco. The entire show is run by students! Funds raised from this event benefit the school's safe and sober grad party!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo makes prom dreams come true! A Stockton woman has been deemed the fairy Prom Mother from helping junior and seniors afford prom dresses and accessories. Students were picked after being nominated by school counselors. The non-profit has been around for four years and each year it grows. This morning we are getting a sneak peak at some of the dresses the teens will have the availability to choose from. We'll find out how you can help teens make their prom dreams come true.

The Rotary Club of Laguna Sunrise is excited to host its 12th Annual Taste of Elk Grove fundraiser! The Taste of Elk Grove features over 50 local restaurants, wineries, and breweries featuring Groove Market Band in our outdoor Beer Garden.
