Snowboarder Missing At Heavenly Resort
STATELINE, Nev. (CBS13) - Searchers are scouring Heavenly Mountain Resort Thursday morning for a snowboarder who was reported missing.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office was called out to the resort in Stateline, Nevada at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after Corey Hoffman, 24, of Garnerville, Nevada was reported overdue. He and his brother were snowboarding at the resort during the day and were separated during their last run, according to Douglas County Undersheriff Paul Howell.
Officials think Corey is still on the mountain since his vehicle remains in the parking lot, and Corey hasn't had contact with family or friends since Wednesday.
He was wearing black snow pants, a brown hat with fur trim and black boots. He also had on a Camelback pack, and has a red snowboard.
