The Stanislaus County Animal Shelter is celebrating five years in its new facility. Adopting out more than a couple thousand animals each year, it proudly boasts that 99% of their dogs leave there alive.  But, they've got love for cats too and that's why Nha Nguyen is there. She's checking out a new feature to the animal shelter called Cat City. Here, visitors can purchase a cup of coffee and hang out in a large room built just for the kitties to roam free.

Moustache Challenge
For the past 35 years, David has had his handlebar moustache.  Today he is shaving it off, all for a good cause.  He is raising money to help wounded veterans with the help of horses.  He says horses have a healing power.  We are there as we say goodbye to his moustache.

A mom and pop shop is doing it all. Denise's Farmer's Market started in Ripon but expanded to Lathrop.

Self-Driving Shuttle
Sacramento State  is getting the chance to see what a driverless car can do.  The car is the size of a golf cart and will take students between certain points on campus.  We are getting a look at this technology and seeing how students are liking the shuttle.
