Man Arrested Following Deputy-Involved Shooting In Orangevale
ORANGEVALE (CBS13) — A man was arrested in connection with a deputy-involved shooting in Orangevale on Sunday night, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities said they responded to the 6800 block of Woodmore Oaks Drive at around 7:13 p.m. after a caller said his mother's boyfriend was on drugs and they were concerned for their safety.
The incident happened between deputies and the suspect after the suspect exited the home with a gun, the sheriff's office said. One deputy fired his weapon at the suspect in defense. The sheriff's office said no one was struck in the shooting and the suspect was taken into custody and his gun recovered at the scene.
