My Visit to Stockton!
Long overdue, I decided it was time for a Stockton visit. My first stop was hanging out at Caltrans TMC (Traffic Management Center) with CHP Officer John O'Neil. His wife Maria dropped by with Minnie, Belle and Disney, their little doggies. Maria made peanut butter cookies and salsa for me to take back. I shared the cookies with co-workers and they were a hit! I am still waiting for her recipe!!! Thank you Maria!
After visiting John and the nice folks at Caltrans, we moved the truck to March Lane near I-5 and parked in front of Marie Callender's. Loved that so many people stopped by... and here are the pics! Thank you for all the baked goods too!
Daniel dropped by with his son Mark, nephews Nathaniel and Julian, Niece Elysia and thier friend J.J..
Lumpia competitor and friend Eileen Ramirez brought me delicious chicken adobo! She brought her husband John, brother-in-law George and grandson John John. The food tasted wonderful! Salamat!
Boe Lehrer came by with the Beatles' Yellow Submarine movie and Dale Fleming dropped off a flyer for the Stockton Powwow that was held this past weekend at UOP.
Lisa Rice stopped by to wish her son Eric a happy birthday and Bill Chavez brought his dog Rickee to entertain us with tricks.
Kim Kelso wanted me to come by Toot Sweets Bakery Cafe across the street but we had to head over to our next stop at Mezzo. Debbie Martin brought over BBQ sauce her husband Felix made.
Tyler Crider brought over a cactus and Doris Bailey came by with a bagel and cream cheese from Noah's.
Valeria and her dad Ray Ybarra cruised the parking lot with his Raiders pickup! Nice!
Cathy Smith picked up some cookies from Rancho San Miguel store and my buddy John Taylor stopped by to say hello!
Bernie Flores surprised me with goodies from a bakery in Thornton and Joan Zenor stopped by to say a quick hello.
Naomi Orosco and her mom Linda Garcia wanted to say hi and Erika Espinosa and Rosalynn Carrera from Marie Callender's welcomed us with muffins! Yay! Thank you!
Let's talk about Bella's Bakery from Lathrop. Thanks to Mark Duhaylongsod for introducing the pan de sal and Spanish rolls to me! So yummy! Posting a big pic so you can see!
Others stopped by including Jennifer Johnson from dental office of Dr. Sakai and Larry Acosta with a hot chocolate.. A nice family dropped by but I didn't catch their names. Sorry.
