Man Shot In North Highlands; Suspect Arrested

NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) - A suspect has been taken into custody after a shooting in North Highlands overnight.

Sheriff's deputies found the suspect after a victim was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound to the head. The victim is expected to survive.

The shooting happened on Holworthy Way just off Walerga Way. Neighbors say they are shaken up.

"It was like thunder, bam, bam, bam. It was crazy," said a neighbor, who says he occasionally hears gunfire in the area.

It's unclear what led to the shooting or the exact location of the incident.
