Huey Lewis In Sacramento

Grammy Award-winning rock 'n roll legend Huey Lewis was on the show this morning talking about the new album he and the News put out titled "Soulsville".

It doesn't matter who you are, if you grew up in the 80's you undoubtedly have some memory of his music.

My first was the movie Back to the Future, which I first saw in the theater. When Michael J. Fox started skateboarding and on came the song "The Power of Love", I was totally in awe. At the time, there was nothing cooler.

Tina remembers seeing Huey Lewis and the News in the early 80's, which Huey says was one of his the band's earliest shows.

Also, Mark S. Allen recited "The Power of Love" for the latest installment of "A Moment In Poetry".

Huey will be at Borders on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento tonight at 6:30 to sign copies of "Soulsville".

Along with being a fantastic musician, he's also really smart. As a teen, Huey scored a perfect 800 on the math portion of the SAT. He went on to study engineering at Cornell University.
