Wylie was recently named the Best Small Town in for Families in America due in part to affordable housing, median annual income growth and a top ranking by GreatSchools.COM.
"It's pretty exciting, last year we were the top 25 place by Money Magazine to live and so we are very proud of that" said Wylie Mayor Eric Hogue.
When people look to relocate in North Texas, many are attracted to Wylie because of their top ranking school district according to GreatSchools.org
"The market is white hot in the area. It has all that hidden charm of living in small town America, but at the same time you are close to Dallas and Plano and anything you want is close by" said Community Manager of Kreymer Estates of Bloomfield Homes Scott Silvis.
